Neighbor 2 Neighbor is a community organized Outreach Ministry currently comprised of Volunteers representing over 25 Churches and 30 Non-Profits in the Greater Washington / Allegheny / Fayette / Greene / Beaver County areas. It has operated as a volunteer outreach group established in March 2018 in partnership with the Living Waters Church of God Outreach program started in October 2014 with our first community coat drive until becoming a Faith Based Non-Profit Organization in June 2021.

 

Since then we have been able to build and establish Christ centered relationships with each property of the Washington County Housing Authority which provides affordable living for approximately 4000 residents including senior citizens, retirees, special needs, and traditional families.

 

We have be blessed to provide access to free coats as well as a number of continued community events(summer fun picnics, back to school events, community Easter Egg hunts, Vacation Bible School, etc.) on a consistent basis and this Outreach continues to grow and present an opportunity to reach those who are hurting and traditionally perceived as disadvantaged.

 

With the growth and opportunity we have in this Harvest field, there is a constant need for volunteers with a focus on discipleship and also traditional resources such as event items, locations and financial support while exercising good stewardship and effectiveness for the Kingdom.

 

Beyond this point, you will find a brief description of each ministry opportunity we currently provide that will include what it is, a brief description of the specific event, and the opportunity and mission of each item to serve and grow.

This mantle and vision is rooted in the two greatest commands, to Love the Lord our God with all of our hearts and to Love our neighbors as ourselves.
